Wrote one of my weirdest free pieces in a while today, going out tomorrow. The tech industry is a cargo cult and I followed the comparison as far as 7000 words can take me.

More than half of what Claude outputs is bullshit I skim past. I don't need a deep dive when I ask it to write me a function. All those long winded responses eat up tokens and now Claude has decided to constantly reference our previous conversations even when they're irrelevant.

One of my main clients requires us to use Claude, and I also loathe all the BS status updates it spits out about what it's doing when I prompt it. I told you to review this copy against the client's compliance guidelines; just produce the fuckin' word doc with the red lines, already.
