We had just posted an update to this story earlier, when we heard that the additional grant was finalized.
This story has been updated with a comment from one of the grantees that might make you go... huh? Dr. Marguerite Duane has links to the Heritage Foundation and one of the anti-abortion doctor groups that kicked off legal battles over mifepristone.
ICYMI, we initially reported that nearly $9M would go to orgs run by anti-abortion doctors: $4.5M to Duane's FACTS About Fertility, and $4.3 million to an org run by an endometriosis surgeon which has never made more than $50k in a year. The Duquesne grant brings the total to nearly $13M.
