So ProPublica is AMAZING, but they are technically “objective” news and I’m no longer doing that. Trying to be an “out” left-wing journalist, for my own sanity. MSNow has invited me to pitch them op-eds, but I don’t think that includes reported pieces from a left-wing perspective. I should ask. :-)

I appreciate you looking out for me! I am not opposed to freelance, contract or salary work, but trying to make those happen was driving me insane. It’s really bleak in the industry rn. So I just decided to cut bait and focus on the reporting and see if I could generate an income that way.
