My takeaway is that this is a con by the Trump admin filling up for-profit detention centers. Deplorable.

A beloved, drive thru in my community called 'Ms. G's Tortas & Tamales' was recently shut down when its owner, 'Ms G,' was pulled over for expired tags, but she was here illegally, so detained & then sent back to Guatemala She had a valid bznss license for FIVE years, but never bothered to be legal😱

...I strongly disagree with that notion if that's not clear. People can remain LPRs forever if they don't want to naturalize. Some countries will not allow dual citizenships, for example. But that reason shouldn't matter. You want to stay an LPR? Cool. You do you.

This crap must stop! No matter the cost we must change this regime so that these crimes stop and the administration is held accountable. We need our own Nuremburg trials.

Every one of these stories is rage inducing, the people responsible deserve to be thrown in a rat-infested prison for 20 years.

These private prisons are making a fortune and even when you’ve been ordered by a judge to be released, they will begin shipping you around so no one can find you to release you. We can’t find them. Please pay us. It’s also disgusting

I hope there is someone, a lawyer, anyone out there who can help this family. Our country is richer with them out in the world teaching, contributing to our lives.

Do they have an attorney? Petition for a Writ of Habeas Corpus should be filed in the Southern District of Texas, if it hasn’t already.
