Boy it sure would be great if you could turn off the AI crap in every application Windows is trying to run. Half you can’t kill and the other half you need a guide and twenty minutes every time it reboots or updates

And why are laptop makers pushing masochist machines with inadequate RAM? Because AI data centers bought all the RAM. So you can’t afford memory because AI ate it, and as a result you get a laptop that won’t run because little AIs eat all the memory.

2-Channel DDR5 Memory at a low MT/s is the ultimate memory bandwidth killer. - 8GB on Windows 11 uses on average 50-54% of available memory. - 6400MT/s is a baseline standard for Windows 11 16 or 32GB @ 6400 x 128 / 8 = 102.4GB/s Memory Bandwidth. Anything less is choking the memory system.

If you can take advantage of Unified Memory over SODIMM or DDR5, it’s highly recommended. Even on x86 systems. It’s still 2-channel 64-bit per channel but the MT/s is actually quite higher.
