This is the coolest project I've ever seen. Really impressed with the responsiveness and how many capabilities you've already built. Still looking through all of the videos. What is this built on? Web tech? Native shell on Linux? Something else? Thank you for sharing this work in the open. 👏

love it! when I was using a remarkable I always wanted the ability to draw little runes to take actions or link documents to each other or something. Feel like it'd be fun to build up your own pictoral language to operate your computer.

ah yes I have this impulse! I liked in www.youtube.com/watch?v=GurW... where it briefly showed all the buttons as user-defined little drawings... i feel like it can get sprawling fast but i want to figure out a way to do something contained

need to watch that properly! maybe you could make instances of the glyphs ephemeral? So you have to learn them to *do* them, but when you draw them to do something they just fade away.

yea! - i was impressed by the feel of "scribble out" in this demo x.com/seflless/sta... still not sure how much else maps well to that kind of interaction... but would be fun to try and figure out.

Typing to navigate a canvas is underrated. Spatial apps usually make you hunt with the mouse across a giant board, and a text jump lands you there in a couple of keystrokes.
