People you will meet after you spend a long enough time producing:

Person who thinks they are God's gift to music and their talent is completely overlooked. It's the worst music you've ever heard.

Person who will tell you the most "technically correct" way you should do anything with your music. They haven't released any music but their WIPs are clean AF.

Person who owns $20,000 of outboard gear. They use plugins for everything they actually release.

Person who owns a whole wall of modular. They haven't released any music but you saw an Instagram reel of some weird beeps and noise once.

Person who pirated Ableton and put "producer" in their bio. They don't know what a compressor is.

A 14 year old who pirated FL Studio. They make the most insane music you've ever heard and you consider giving up.

Dude who namedrops artists they talked to once multiple times in a conversation.

Person who is doing every single technical thing wrong but it sounds absolutely amazing compared to your output and you question whether anything matters.

Popular DJ who put a house drum loop under a popular track from the 2000s. It gets more plays than your favorite artists music.

Person obsessed with trackers. Are they hacking the matrix or making spreadsheets. You have no idea what is happening.
