In my country children (with no special conditions) under age 12 were never eligible for vaccination. Currently only over 75 is eligible for a yearly covid vaccine. Fortunately last fall vaccines got available with your own money (but only yearly if 12yrs+ or every 6months if your over 50).

I got no vaccines between 1/2022 and last fall because they were not recommended that means they were not available even with my own money. (I did get vaccines abroad though). When they reduce risks, I cannot get skimping on them.
