Measles, bird flu, we seem to have forgotten how desperate we were to have people mask up for covid. I mask anytime I fly and both airports are in NYC. It’s no one’s business what I put on my face for my protection. Emailed.

Seriously, call your local reps. State assembly members and senators, because Hochul's bringing this up during budget negotiations. But also city council members. Tell them to tell Hochul to leave New York City the hell alone. reps.fyi

I called Hochul's office again and pressed "2" to speak to a rep instead of just leaving a message -- and actually got through for the first time in recent memory. Please make these calls, friends. Tell her this mask ban will kill people and to STOP PUSHING IT. 518-474-8390.

I'm all for people reaching out to their reps, but if said people aren't worth tens or hundreds of millions of dollars, do you have any expectation that their reps will care what they have to say?

Fuck’s sake. I’m sick at this very moment but I have things to do - I have to go to the store, to the bank, to work where I’m surrounded by germy people - I don’t want to give whatever I have to others or get sicker because of others.
