Shout out to the lovely ticket woman at NJTransit this morning who, as I was about to pay for my ticket, said “Are you entitled to any discounts?” I said “Oh! Is there a senior discount? I’m a senior!” I thanked her for her gentle diplomacy and we shared a laugh.
