Make her dem leader

I really wish our leaders understood this :(

If the Democrats don’t push for what’s right, the Reich Wing will use that fact to campaign against them in the next 10 election cycles.

You fight the little battles you know you’re gonna lose and you keep piling them on and you stuff sessions and the courts with as much anti-fascist defense as they are with fascist takeover tactics. If cruelty is their intention—make them feel it, too, legally, financially, morally. Do the job.

Not to mention it forces public response from those voting and can be used against them in campaigns etc.

Sanders' statement. Very clearly anti-war. But still the same practical ask as Schumer and every other D (except Landsman, who seems to entirely support the war) that I've seen - a vote on the War Powers resolution. bsky.app/profile/sand...

Also you force all those gutless Republicans to go on the record with their hypocritical, Constitution-nullifying votes (and hope that maybe a few of them may figuratively—or LITERALLY—have a come-to-Jesus about what their choices are doing)

Plus, it gets MoC on record. That's important come the primaries.

I'm sad to report: bsky.app/profile/chuc...
