never, ever, ever, ever vote for another Republican! Wars, economic threats, pandemic deaths, corruption, (Reagan, Nixon, Bush(s), Trump). They are a plague on this nation (& I don't say that lightly!). bsky.app/profile/cdpo...

Not true.... Facts are facts. At least over the last 50yrs, economic progress was a Dem achievement (& responsibility to clean up after Republican administrations). As for the Constitutional protections, what administrations have steadily attacked them; abortion, gay rights, DEI, etc?

There are approximately 22 million children under 5 in America. Quality Childcare costs $15,000 at the high end (varies by location). Universal Childcare for all Americans would thus cost approximately $330 billion per year. We could have universal Pre-K for less than they are spending.

Education creates smarter people who get better jobs who pay more taxes. Why T F isn't that an investment? Healthcare creates healthier people who get better jobs who . . . Food assistance creates healthier children . . . . Rent assistance creates stability . . . Social programs are investments.

Exactly. They don't pay for social programs because they don't want to, simple as. Poverty is extremely profitable for the ruling class, and keeps the working class too desperate for an uprising.
