Just called my representative, @scanlon.house.gov . She’s supportive, but I worry, she, along with everyone else in the House, isn’t moving to act with enough urgency.

I just sent a note to my Dem rep and told her that she and other Dems in Congress will have blood on their hands if they don't do everything in their power to try to stop this insanity.

My guess Chuck is busy trying to tie it to the price of eggs.

I actually got through to one of the interns on the phone instead of a voicemail and made sure to thank them for their time and that my anger was obviously not directed at them. but holy fuck

I told the poor staffer I talked to that they're being horribly exploited by their cowardly boss. I said it's deeply unfair. I told them it's okay for them to admit that to themselves, to know that about their boss. I also said I hoped they find a way to make a real difference within that office.

Called my Dem rep, got right through to a staffer which tells me no one's calling. Expressed my dismay at their lack of action.
