Look, the Republican Party is pushing white supremacist policies to destroy our ability to change the system through democratic electoral politics. So it's time to stop giving their billionaire benefactors our money. Cancel ONE THING from a billionaire today. You can do it! #CancelParty

None of us can cancel everything. But all of us can cancel SOMETHING. One eminently practical suggestion: Does your family have more than one Amazon Prime account? You absolutely don't need more than one! Cancel one of those tonight!

I cancelled Microsoft 365 and switched to stand-alone installations like this just over a year ago. Biggest drawback as far as I can tell is that in October 2026, Microsoft will stop providing security updates for Office 2021. support.microsoft.com/en-us/office...

support.microsoft.comEnd of support for Office 2021 | Microsoft SupportSupport for Office 2021 will end on October 13, 2026. All of your Office 20121 apps will continue to function, but you could be exposed to security risks. Upgrade to Microsoft 365.

I cancelled my Home Depot online account because they were allowing ICE to stage in their parking lots. Felt great! Now I just buy from local hardware stores. Works fine!

I cancelled the WaPo and NYT. Subscribed to the @inquirer.com and some independent journalists/newsrooms that you can find at the link below. Felt great! Haven't missed 'em! gregpak.net/2026/04/14/t...

It's all well and good to promote this but in Australia we have a compressed media landscape where Rupert and his wannabe imitators rule. I don't watch MSM tv, but CBS owns the TEN network and they used to be a breath of fresh air on the commercial side of things here

I don't buy from Starbucks because of their union issues. INCREDIBLY easy not to buy coffee from them! You can buy coffee almost ANYWHERE! (I don't drink coffee, which makes it even easier, lol, but you get it!)

Australia did not buy Starbucks coffee as thanks to European immigration post war, Italian and Greeks taught us how to appreciate good coffee. Something Starbucks could have learned but failed to do.

Small and easy thing you can do to get started -- download your last couple of credit card statements and look through them for recurring charges. I bet you'll find crap you forgot you subscribed to and don't need! Cancel 'em! You'll hurt a right wing billionaire's feelings AND save money!

Comics and photography friends, are you paying too much for Adobe? If you click through to cancel your account, they'll often make you an offer for a year at a vastly discounted rate! (Be careful, though - if you've committed to a year and cancel early, they can hit you with fees.)
