Saw @ginafortexas.bsky.social at an event in NYC tonight. The latest Siena poll has her 4 points ahead of Abbott - which I think is the best polling any Texas Democrat has had in a governor's race in a generation.

Christy Turlington introducing @ginafortexas.bsky.social at the NYC fundraiser tonight.

@ginafortexas.bsky.social talked about data centers and fighting billionaires. Also talked about the fact that Texas will gain more seats in the US House in the future - and if she's the next governor, she'll block Republican gerrymandering.

Pretty cool venue - the Boesky Gallery in Chelsea. The sculpture is called the Peach Tree by the Haas Brothers. marianneboeskygallery.com/exhibitions/...

I love that when Hinojosa talks about affordability and data centers, she makes sure to place the blame squarely on the billionaires. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUX2...

@ginafortexas.bsky.social would absolutely be the best governor Texas has had since Ann Richards. If you're in Texas, I hope you'll vote for her - and then continue to push her on all the issues you care about, just as we have to push every one of our electeds as hard as we can.

I wore the Ann Richards for Governor jacket that I got when I worked on that campaign in 1990. Christy Turlington liked it, lol. (And yes, I was masking lol - just took off my mask for the photo.)
