A deadly measles outbreak in Pennsylvania has infected more than 975 people this year and been linked to five deaths. It has also infected at least 50 pregnant women in the state, causing doctors in outbreak areas to change how they care for pregnant patients and their babies.

I hope this has removed doubt from the reluctant parents out there. I have become cynical so I doubt that, but for the sake of many innocents, I really hope people understand the importance of preventive medicine.
