I do however remember joking when the smoking ban came in that all of us with undiagnosed whatever who self-medicate with nicotine were going to go off our trolleys from having to at least cut back, and now I'm kinda looking at the UK and US and repeating the mantra, it was a JOKE, it was a JOKE...

to be clear, I am not expressing nostalgia for the days of everything stinking, I am just being paranoid that the rampant nicotine use may have been keeping the rampant lead poisoning in check

I’ve wondered if the nicotine (or any of the chemicals alone or in combination) helped reduce signs of ADHD.
