If you’re good enough at driving in reverse to back into a spot, why not back out of it after quickly parking?

You can't see the environment around the back of your car when leaving the parking spot (especially if there are massive trucks to either side of you) as you can when you're backing into the parking spot initially?

Ah, because most of the people backing into spaces AREN'T good at driving in reverse. They just THINK they are and then get mad at us for being impatient when they pull forward and then back up nine times trying to back into a spot 🙄 But forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown. They're VERY defensive!

I'll tell you why I do it. I do it because I think it's a lot safer for pedestrians considering I can see a lot better when I'm arriving than when I'm sitting still attempting to back out from a stop.
