We understand that some people are having a problem where their friends' voices are too quiet in the game. Sorry about this! We can see that for some setups, players' voices are much quieter than intended even when very close by. We're working to put out a fix as soon as we can.

I feel like individual volume sliders is very important in a co-op game. And being able to lower sound effects and music is not always a hearing thing but a attention thing. Like, sometimes a lot of sounds make is impossible to be able to listen.

Is it possible that the difference in version on steam (1.4.8) and Switch2 (1.4.5) makes the crossplay incompatible? Otherwise, thanks for the quick action!

If possible, consider a per-player gain slider... Discord does this for its a/v chat and it's fantastic for when one person's mic is waaay too quiet or too loud. Various folks' audio setups vary wildly.

Thanks! I also had an issue where my voice seemed to be coming through for both players, and the other person's voice wasn't picked up. We were in the same room unfortunately, but their game settings did seem to register their mic input. Not sure what was going on there.

Is the versioning on Switch 2 the same as PC? Switch 2 is still on 1.4.5, and I know 1.4.8 (at least on PC) was the big update that fixed the quiet volume issue.

This is great to hear, we really struggled today!! Would also be so lovely to have independant volume sliders for music, SFX, individual voices etc, we all had the game at max volume and our streams couldn’t hear folks! All in all had a fab time playing today though, huge congrats on the launch!! 🩷

Thank you for listening to feedback! Outside of the low volume, the proximity chat feels perfectly natural, and every other element in the game handles exactly as expected. Can't wait to play more!
