Oh this is very fun. I once rigged up a label printer to a webapp by streaming PDF data to a node.js endpoint that spawned a cups process, love this as a simpler option

I got a bit of a challenge for you, I own a Jadens brand thermal printer intended for shipping labels by the manufacturer, but I've yet to find an optimal image resolution for it to play nice with dithering to print a good grey tone, think you can help me out?

I started out as something I had to do for my job, but it really turned into an obsession – I now own around 40 different receipt printers of various makes and models. It doesn't get old. And I've been working on something new - that probably nobody but me will enjoy. And that is absolutely fine.
