More gaslighting. Getting an ID is not hard. All 50 states issue "non-driver" state identification cards, which serve the same identification functions as a driver's license. Some states offer them free for seniors, veterans, low-income people, or in certain circumstances.

Not true. The Supreme Court and later cases have cited Crawford v. Marion County Election Board for the principle that voter ID requirements (even if supporting documents cost money) generally do not qualify as unconstitutional poll taxes, unlike direct fees charged for voting.

True, but if you want to vote, that's what you do. Of course, you also need an ID to open a bank account/cash a check, buy liquor, rent a car/hotel, enter federal buildings, fly domestically, or apply for welfare/EBT. You also need an ID to attend the DNC national convention.

Ah. Cherub. You should read the Save Act. All the words. Even the big ones. It disenfranchises people whose names don’t match their birth certificates - you know, married women and others. It doesn’t accept the nonNow that I think about it, J.D. Vance might have a little problem, too.

That is BS. Most married woman I know have access to their marriage license, which shows the name change. If not, it's easy enough to get a copy from the state/county where you were married; for most, it can even be done online. Married women are not stupid; they know how to do this.

Yeah let's make voting harder to solve a problem that doesn't exist! Anyone who opposes making voting more difficult is anti-American.

This show ‘The Newsroom’ is some of the best writing out there. Trust me. This series is as good as it gets. Writer Aaron Sorkin knows how to put pen to paper. Brilliance x 100.
