I’m confused about v whole Constitution thing. With all v Amendments that gave American citizens so much freedom. To now find, within a decade, that the rich can decimate Justice for a bit of gold & cryptocurrency. Seems leaving responsibility to God & a few voters it can in end up in a dumpster🇦🇺🙄🫩

At some point maybe next year, Congress should amend our Constitution to set term limits of maybe 6 years x 2 and force their retirement, and to elect SCOTUS justices by popular vote every 6 years. Only then, the three branches of gov't (Legislative, Executive, and Judicial) will be equal.

We need to have 13 justices since Mitch McConnell changed the rules. And Trump got to have 3 nominees under changing standards. Now whichever party that's in power will have ambiguous authority when a justice leaves or dies. Having 13 justices removes the opportunity for that to happen ever again.

How???? The whole majority of the SCOTUS, the White House and the sniveling Congress is implicit; short of revolution, protests and voting are all we have left. And a great deal of cleanup ahead.

There should be, at the least, term limits (12 years sounds good), and strict qualifications, such as a high grade from a neutral recommendation board. A president shouldn’t be allowed to nominate just anyone and force us to suffer for 30+ years.
