Power scaling as a concept is flawed. Sailor moon is a character that's infinite power is used to prove there is goodness. Goku exists to inspire always being able to overcome. These characters aren't meant to fight they are meant to stand together against tyrants and inspire hope.

I feel like there's still a limit to how much he can copy though. It's not like he can regrow limbs like Piccolo or do Hit's time stop, so I doubt he could do Sailor Moon's magical hax. He'd for sure get a new form that makes it an even fight though because that's just Dragon Ball.

That's not all - if Goku got that power, he'd have a comedic parody of a Sailor Moon transformation to use it, and therefore gain a power boost by briefly channeling his old Dragon Ball era status as a comedy character

It would just come to them being at their absolute power limit and just not fighting in the final showdown, reconciling their friendship, and beating the ass off whoever put them up to it.

Been listening to Journey to the West and Sun Wukong would probably at least standstill him for a while, but that doesn’t feel like a fair comparison as that’s Goku’s progenitor. They woul shatter the heavens, and also be friends, but somewhere in a corner Bulma and Tripitaka are nursing a headache

Where did this perception that Goku ass pulls forms even come from? Especially in Z. He works for the Kaioken. Super Saiyan was one of the most earned transformations in shonen. He didn't even get 2 first and he worked for years to get 3. Ultra Instinct is the closest to an ass pull form.

Given that Goku is from planet Vegeta, wouldnt it be entirely plausible (perhaps moreso, even) that Goku would be Super Saiyan Sailor Vegeta [etc etc]?

I know you mean the Marvel villain Taskmaster, but my British brain read this very strangely indeed. Picturing Goku standing there going "And next to me, a man who told me in private that he considers all namekians as lesser because you can't trust a man who looks like cabbage, it's little Vegeta!"

(Until they grow powerful enough to stop/kill whatever contrivance is causing them to fight in the first place, as we all know they would probably have no real reason to fight without outside forces forcing them to)
