In addition, if I’m reading it right, most of the studies in this meta-analysis were from China so wholly irrelevant to our domestic fluoridation policy.

I believe those studies are from China due to naturally high fluoride concentrations in the water without any sort of municipal fluoridation. All depends on what rocks the aquifer is in contact with.

That’s my read, too. But like you said, no municipal water supply comes close to the levels of neurotoxicity in this analysis.
