I was lucky to get RTX 5070 TI, DDR 5 RAM, CPU etc. at 2025 prices recently because the biggest PC store here had 30th Anniversary. I still have my RTX 3070 and GTX 1660 Super PC's as i need 3 PC's. lol

Yeah… that’s gonna be a hard pass from me, boss. I’m gonna miss playing on a new system but for nearly 2k? That’s at least $1400 more than you should be paying for a new system. Video gaming as we know it is at the crossroads of another crash.

I think we need to tell next gen to hold off and that we don’t actually need it yet. The current gen hasn’t exactly peaked let’s be honest… let the RAM and GPU prices deflate for a few years.

Well gaming PCs will cost $5k+ by that point too. You will need to just use their cloud gaming service if you're poor, they need to use these warehouses of gpus that Nvidia made them purchase for something.

Don't worry, I'm sure they'll contract it out to you at just $60(not including Gamepass) a month for 5 years & that bad boy can be all yours at the end!

Yeah it’s fun speculation bait (at Xbox’s expense,of course lol) but while I could see a high end handheld releasing for that much, it seems a far fetched, even in this high tariff / memory crunch era, to think a console comes out at 3 times the price of the previous gen’s high end model. We’ll see.

The RAM and SSD in PS6 is expected to cost 1000$ alone. Not including AMD APU, Motherboard, Casing, Controller etc. Don't expect PS6 to be much cheaper.

I didn’t pay that much for my ripper gaming PC, I own every current console, and I will never ever ever pay that much for a console again. Just won’t play the games if they’re never for normies again. This all sucks so hard.

Assuming the 5080 performance rumors are true(which I highly dought) this may be a more reasonable price than building a 5080 PC
