This is more common than you’d sadly think. In the anime voice acting sphere, there is a series of animated films made by an actual cult known as Happy Science. A lot of household name actors have voiced in these; I doubt many of them knew that when they recorded. Sometimes it’s just a paycheck.

NEW: The judge overseeing the Paramount-WBD antitrust litigation has canceled Thursday’s hearing on Paramount’s bond request but scheduled a new one to address outstanding questions about the proposed consent decree. She has not yet approved the settlement.
