I grew up in Stepney, I don't think that place has been used since the Blooms restaurant closed around the corner in Aldgate East when I was a kid in the 80s and most of our Jewish population aged and headed out of the city.

Yup. They're some kind of racist bigot so we're not dealing with one of the great minds of our time here, so if it *looks* like a Synagogue, they probably thought it was. If they were motivated by anti-Muslim sentiment there would be more obviously Islamic buildings to target.

I'm not a muslim and nor am I a jew. I am of no faith at all. But what I do believe in is truth. This is because truth is the root of trust and without trust we are all lost. That's fucked, in my language.
