Thank you, sir, for standing up for what is right and just. I am heartsick that so many politicians who swore an oath to uphold the constitution and serve the people have decided that power, money, and greed are more important than integrity, empathy and just doing the right thing!

Yes. Democrats should take turns doing the same thing...day after day. Let's see which Democrats will join (e.g., Chris Murphy? Elizabeth Warren?) and which Democrats will find an excuse to avoid it (e.g., Schumer? Fetterman?).

Optics. You have to remember most people in this country aren’t paying attention, or understand the scale of the problem. This brings more attention to more folks that otherwise might dismiss what we’ve all been saying as “crackpot internet” stuff. We need as many people as possible to care.

And we want to give positive reinforcement to the Dems when they do anything moving in the right direction - immediate criticism for not being perfect (ie not doing enough) isn’t productive. I hate that it’s true, but change is slow, and we need to drag people with us - any progress is good.

I think theres been censorship and manipulation of media to suppress momentum of resistance but if he can keep this up it is harder to suppress a 72 hour livestream of Congress. It might be good timing ahead of April 5. i hope he uses time to outline potential avenues to impeachment for the House
