Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we’ve come, and how far we still have to go. Today, we’re once more committing ourselves to the work of ending systemic oppression of Black people in America. We’re not free until everyone is free.

I showed up for work today at a federal facility. It honestly didn’t occur to me that the holiday Biden ensconced would be extant. I assumed Trump overturned *everything* Biden did. Especially those actions that commemorated Black history and oppression.

Black people helped free themselves, but many whites gave their lives for the cause and helped in myriad other ways rather than pushing back. Please be specific about the types of oppression you're referring to and in what ways black people aren't free in America.

EVERYONE! Is everyone who (is) an American or (is) working to become an American. The most diverse Country in the World ... working together in a democracy where no one is left behind! NO KINGS since 1776, and the World views us as LEADERSHIP! ... Until the Recking Ball showed up TRUMP!

Every single Juneteenth post: "from where we came - how far we need to go". Where we are, is *allowing* a regime to roll out a new era of oppression, slavery and servitude. Stop with the greeting card 'motivating' sentimentality and DO SOMETHING to stop the destruction of the entire nation.
