Way to go, Gov. Hochul! I'm happy to see my governor putting the gloves on and getting ready to fight. I'm hoping other governors follow her lead. I think the states are the last lines of defense against autocracy as our democracy weakens.

Illinois and California governors came out and gave similar statements. They are ready to fight this super-charged gerrymandering bullshit by Abbott and Trump. I'm glad to see we've got some strong Democratic governors in the US right now.

It's unfortunate that the Trump Republicans have pushed us to this point, but it's time to face the fact that, if we don't fight back right now, we won't have another opportunity. Our goals have to be to win and then pass legislation to ban future gerrymandering by both Dems and Reps. #FightFascism

Unfortunately it will never happen until we can get shitty Supreme Court rulings that enabled gerrymandering to continue to be overturned. Ironically, the path to that better future lies through Dems fighting fire with fire. We have to first break the maps before we can fix them. 1/

When both parties have corrupted the maps completely unfairly, that will force action to render the actions of both parties moot. At least that’s the hope. The other outcome would be the dissolution of the United States upon blue state/red state lines.

Charlatrump was caught cheating on video on one of his golf courses. He cheated on his taxes, cheated on his business loans, cheated on his wives, cheated on his business contractors & tried to cheat on the 2020 elections. Now he is trying to cheat on the 2026 mid terms elections. See the pattern?
