At this point, the only difference between a "shutdown" and continuing is whether everything stops, or only the things the Republican Party illegally and unconstitutionally defunds. As I told reps in February: Republicans breaking the laws means "compromise" in passing the laws is pointless.

The dems need to hold out for more than just the healthcare provisions. There is so much evil stuff in this bill. Even if the healthcare cuts were removed it would still be disastrous.
