What Trump is going to end up getting rid of is The United States Of America. The Union will not survive this Administration. I don't know when, but these 50 states (and our possessions) will eventually shuck off the DC government, split into new nations, and look more like ex-Yugoslavia or the EU.
I'm speculating it will make somewhere between 5 and 10 nations (not 2), depending on which states band together with each other, and none of them giving a shit about the others. In fact, I would expect early trade and mutual recognition negotiations. It could be one of these maps:
Democrat things, like caring for OUR Country, OUR Freedoms, OUR Welfare as a people, OUR very Lives! Those who voted for him were deceived, or they think that tyranny over them will excuse anything and everything they want to do to gain more Power and Money for themselves at everyone else's expense!
Republicans support everything. But rule though choas. cbwrong.blogspot.com/2025/09/is-p...

Like here's Mikies statement.. says they have "two choices" when they have three.. not an utter about the option the GOP has to change the rules: bsky.app/profile/miki...
Trump and the Republican majorities in Congress had a choice between: a) shutting the government down b) working with Democrats to lower costs and prevent health insurance premiums from skyrocketing.
Here's where Republicans used their 53-47 majority to change the rules to avoid the 60 vote/filibuster rule, which they then used to appoint lists of Judicial nominees using 51 vote majorities. They could do the exact same thing with the budget. thehill.com/homenews/sen...
They did "The “nuclear option,” which allows the majority party to change the rules with a simple majority vote, is so called because it is seen as highly detrimental to bipartisanship. All told, the chamber needed four votes on Thursday to make the alteration." From thehill.com/homenews/sen...
The "Nuclear Option" doesn't look like much, but this is the one-cool-trick that makes it possible to avoid the 60 vote threshold: www.congress.gov/bill/119th-c...
Has that "nuclear option" been used on a bill before? Seems like it's just for nominations. If they don't change that precedent they can still simply say they were blocked by the Dems, which seems to be their endgame anyway. Shut it down and let the reds piss off more voters who are paying attention
