For the first time all year, Democrats were riding high and the regime was on the ropes. If Senate leadership’s goal was to demobilize and depress rank-and-file Democrats, they could not have played their cards better. This is why we’ve launched the largest primary program that we’ve ever run.

The Democrats did the one thing the Republicans couldn't: smash our hope. Now, all the complicit will be ousted. Time to change this entire government. I got time and I will be patient. All the decades it will take.

What about the many two-faced Dems who repeatedly voted in Trump’s horrible Cabinet noms. The voting records make me sick. And they have continued to support GOP bills and issues while saying g something different on camera. Start with Booker. And that asshat doctor who voted for RFKJ.

To all those who bravely served our country, thank you to you and your family for your extraordinary service. The sacrifices that all of you have made to protect our country will be honored, today and every day.

I've encountered more than a few people in the last 48 hours who have never volunteered for a campaign before who are fired up and inspired to help primary candidates who won't just rubber stamp the status quo. Hoping we can channel that energy into real change in 2026!

I hope cooler heads will prevail. We don’t and can’t know what happened behind the scenes. Experts are divided on what would have been best dems move. Let’s all take a collective breath and not go for the nuclear option. This is awful all the way around but turning on the dem party.

I don't think bashing the entire Democratic party is going to get us what we need. We will need a huge number of people to vote for Democratic candidates. Fracturing the party is not going to help.

Sent email to Chuck #Schumer & asked him to resign. I wrote: 1) his “No” vote was transparently craven, 2) he orchestrated this capitulation when #Trump was weak, 3) he is NOT capable of leading in this political moment, 4) Gov. #Hochul would appoint a FIGHTER! www.schumer.senate.gov/contact/mess...

New in PN: Cue the rebellion "The unfortunate conclusion to the shutdown is going to fuel a rebellion within the Democratic Party, one that has already begun but will only get stronger. And despite all the justified disgust now being expressed at Dems, in the long run it will be good for the party"

Epstein will kick in soon, enveloping the media like a cloud. Trump will create a sizable distraction to disperse the cloud. The shut down is already fading. We will not be able to keep talking about it, and we don't really need to – just put a reminder in your calendar for next fall.

The only path to a real opposition party is through a cleansing primary season. We have spent a year trying to convince the Democratic Party to unify and fight back — but at some point, you’ve got to either change your leaders’ minds or change your leaders. And the time for changing minds is over.

Perhaps it is time to turn our backs on the democratic party establishment and focus our energy on building a new opposition party. The dem leadership has destroyed the brand, any trust, and has no integrity. Schumer will let this all blow over

You want candidates with spine? Recruit military veterans. Data: Veteran Democrats outperform non-veterans by 3-8 points with independents. They're immune to GOP attacks. They win swing seats. Gallego (AZ), Slotkin (MI), Sherrill (NJ) all won in 2024. Target swing voters and recruit vets for 2026.

Donated! I’m sharing the link on every post, every in-person interaction. I wonder how much Schumer got, financially, to sell out Americans. Another vacation home, a new sports car? I’ve called and left messages. 202-224-6542

No!! We are fighting Donald Trump not Democrats! You were not affected by the shut down! Millions were and are! Not up to you who suffers for something Rep’s weren’t going to pressured into anyway. The blame is still theirs. Put your anger where it belongs.

This is exactly what is wrong with the Dem party- Schumer put up a bill including ACA & GOP said no. Other dems put up a bill w/out ACA and Schumer said no and voted no, so the Dems blame...Schumer who i guess wrecked everything with his Jewish Space Laser. You never fight GOP, you only fight Dems.

I agree with you. The current Dems in the senate all need to go. Primary everyone in the senate. The Democrats need a progressive tea party movement. We will never get anywhere when the people who are supposed to be fighting beside you keep hitting YOU over the head RATHER THAN THE OTHER SIDE.

This is complete nonsense. So you want us in MA to vote out Elizabeth Warren, & you think Ohio is going to vote for a progressive. Virginia & New Jersey won with moderates. Your progressive only talk is why we have no power in D.C. We all work together or we remain out of power. 50 yr activist.

what is wrong with you? Play the long game. the goal is for D’s to win. Focus your attention on races where your influence would make a positive difference, leave the other races alone. If your take away is that you are depressed and demobilized that’s a loser mentality and that’s on you

I changed my party affiliation yesterday to ‘Independent’. I’m thinking now that that was a bit extreme? In my heart I’m still a Democrat, but it felt like they not only took the wind out of my sails but burnt the whole damn boat down to the waterline!

7 million of us didn't protest so that Shummer could undercut all of us, and make those of us who rely on the ACA suffer. What an out of touch loser who is probably beholden to Trump in some way to do this dumb shit. And those 8 Dems should not get to keep their healthcare either. A-holes!

Just don’t follow the corrupt republican ways of hateful rhetoric of the fox propaganda magazine be an American 🇺🇸 proud of your party and what they have done for you God bless America 🇺🇸 thank you Jesus 💙🙏🏽🇺🇸👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

What is so awful is the arrogance of the Senate Dems to presume they get any credit for the landslide election. That credit goes to all the grassroots efforts. And then they go and sell those grassroots activists out, with no warning or inclusion.

The Centrist DNC leadership does this repeatedly. They are not on the side of the people. They helped to create and are helping to perpetuate the Tyranny of Rump. They enable the treason of Rump and damage the real resistance.

One thing good that will come out of this is that these issues, is that maga will feel it more and it will be the subject of conversation into late next year for the midterms.

why is 'Indivisible' taking sides on s_ like this? Who knows what the right position to take was? What's the strategy behind keeping the government shutdown? Instead of turning the party into a circular firing squad maybe 'Indivisible' can do something constructive, better than 'postcard campaigns'

The overwhelming majority of Democratic voters dislike the party’s current leadership by huge margins. If you enjoy the feckless, loser version of the Democratic Party that we saw this week, then good luck to you. We intend to demand a Democratic Party with a spine that will actually fight for us.

uh, so what does the "fighting" actually get you? Got any better ideas? What's the strategy of doing A vs B, especially thinking a few steps ahead? Haven't heard this from ANYONE. I'm guessing most of the ppl advocating 'fighting' aren't on SNAP either

"Senate Democrats didn't do what we wanted, so we're having a fucking tantrum instead of looking at the larger picture" How long did you want unpaid workers to continue working unpaid? You paying their bills? How long did you want hungry people to go hungry? You're completely insane.

a prerequisite to electing a new leader is for someone to step forward and say they want the job. no one has done that. no one wants that difficult and thankless job. what’s the name? who has stepped forward? no one

unless someone publicly steps forward to challenge him, you really can’t call it serious. besides if someone can be “squashed” by the old guard I don’t want them as the new leader cause they don’t have what it takes. more of the same

I am searching for replacement candidates in states who have upcoming Primaries. New Jersey does not seem to have a challenger for Booker. I am curious if Steven Fulop would run. Does anybody know anything about him? Is he a good candidate? He ran for Governor.

This Indivisible member wants Schumer gone but making opposition to Schumer a litmus test for primary candidates is a VERY bad strategy for winning the majority in the Senate…even Bernie does NOT support this. We need strong candidates coming out of the primaries who will win in Nov. Period.

He fucking skipped to the cameras to let us know he didn't vote for it this time knowing full well he was orchestrating this vote behind the scenes. He told those who wanted to vote to wait until November. Then the 8 chosen, because there were more, are retiring or not up for election in 2026.
