It's possibly SLIGHTLY good news that they are trying to hide this persecution of Sen. Kelly by doing it during the "kidnap Maduro" hoopla. It shows that they know that what they're doing will be wildly unpopular.

Senator Kelly has spent over 25 years serving this country and defending our freedoms (which still include the First Amendment). The regime’s push to punish Sen. Kelly is the desperate act of a failing regime.

Dictators don't care about the masses. They maintain power by intimidating and or eliminating specifically those individuals who oppose them ... or who might oppose them in the future. Kelly is not the first, and there will be many more. (To end this, remove Trump.)

It’s hard to avoid feeling like nothing matters. We made calls today and will march when we can- and do good works in our community - Doesn’t seem like enough - but it’s better than doing nothing imo

It all matters, especially when it comes to political organizing. These are not normal times and embracing standard sidewalk protest, has little effect, to no effect against fascism. Oligarchy did not occur naturally, it was concretized by political and economic policy by Red and Blue.

It's not desperation due to already taken Venezuela. You all obviously know Republicans are going to destroy the Democrats by not only rigging and gerrymandering, but some areas that were Democrat prefer R's > D's.
