Teams keep reaching for AI to generate more code, even though the actual bottleneck is review. Generating code faster in an already constrained review process doesn't improve throughput. It degrades it. Fix the gate before you widen the pipe.

I have seen a trend where companies are trading quality for speed in an attempt to meet unrealistic expectations.
