THANK YOU FOR THIS This past summer I decided I needed to put together my own Professional Writer's website. I got a neocities page started, got myself some books from the library, and got a few basics started. But this is a big help! I know what I'll be doing tonight.

Folks get all tied up in knots over making a site that's PERFECT that they never publish something that's Good Enough, despite the fact that hypertext is designed to be a living document. Something frumpy but usable is still usable!

Well done! Essential stuff. Just a shoutout to the fantastic UK-based web hosts, @mythic-beasts.com who provide excellent cheap web space. Top-notch service, and just the kind of company you need looking after your website right now.

I still recommend Cloudflare static hosting. It’s free if you are willing to learn just a bit to upload stuff. Their dashboard gui has gotten better though.
