Maybe uh... This is bad timing considering Jay's faux pas.

kinda feel like the whole reaction to this proves jay's point

I'm not sure if that was the way to go about making a point though since trans people have been suspended for less than what Singal is known for doing. Idk man. It's giving the ick. I hope you guys are moving fast on making a better self hostable appview though.

re: self-hostable appview github.com/alnkesq/AppViewLite by @alnkq.bsky.social uses some compression techniques @mia.pds.parakeet.at has her own project @parakeet.at including a plc mirror! @blackskyweb.xyz will be deploying their own Appview soon for ATP powered apps there's @slices.network

also all of @microcosm.blue's work like constellation.microcosm.blue (not an appview, backlinks cache that alt clients use). Ex: reddwarf.whey.party is a client by @whey.party to pull from PDS + constellation to avoid appview. Estimate for full appview of bsky network ~14tb.

if you want to support indie atp devs: - @rude1.blacksky.team built Blacksky, opencollective: opencollective.com/blacksky - sponsor @microcosm.blue on github github.com/uniphil - no link for mia :( - ko-fi.com/danielah05 made social.daniela.lol client - @tokimeki.blue buymeacoffee.com/spuithori

@mia.pds.parakeet.at do you have a link in case someone wants to sponsor a cool indie ATP dev? same for @alnkq.bsky.social I keep mentioning both of your work but I don't have a link to direct people to sponsor :(

(sorry just getting around to this one) I don’t, partially because it feels weird when the stuff I’m working on isn’t really usable yet, and partially because thats a mountain of paperwork.
