@brittanyellich.com has a habit of casually dropping the most cracked agent setups in the groupchat. If it were me there'd be 3 messages leading up about how genius my new idea is, but she just mentions it like "yeah btw"

To the people tagging me about not knowing what a staging server is, stop it. I know that's not a real thing. You're not gonna get me

Way back, prior to working at Bluesky, I worked on Secure Scuttlebutt which allowed for thousands of characters. It was once described as "full contact blog hockey" and it is why I am confident that character limits are a good thing.

What I picture when people ask Bluesky to increase its character count

Okay [being vague to minimize spoilers] I just have to point out that the last scene between Nathan and Amanda -- the one about catching feelings -- used very specifically staged & lit shots which means they were intentionally conveying that bit of dialogue was scripted

I built a fun little Chrome extension that lets plants invade your abandoned tabs the longer you leave them unread. To access them again, you have to slash through the vines 🪚🌿

In order to protect your customers from these concerns, we recommend you install the freshest version of PHP. And speaking of fresh, this CVE is brought to you by our sponsor,

this must be what it feels like to live in gotham and friends are texting you shit like the joker just made money poisonous and the penguin has had an army in the sewer for over 6 years now

Every family chat with a tech worker looks like “😱😱😱😱 just update you’re software things are fine 😱😱😱🧑‍💻🔫 😭😭😭 no you don’t need to panic”

AI coding's asserted productivity improvements don't show up in the toplevel metrics. Our research team has found that this is because all of the productivity gains have gone to patching prod after the daily batch of CVEs

new reference PDS container has been published! if you do the classic self-hosting auto-update setup, you can force a faster refresh with: sudo pdsadmin update and while you are in there why not: sudo apt update sudo apt upgrade
