I finally have something to share here. How often do you copy something, then edit it before pasting it? Remove tracking parameters, shorten a URL, clean up text, turn a bullet list into Markdown list… I built Clipboard Transformer for that: github.com/jag-k/clipbo... #OpenSource #Productivity

Copy: example.com/article?utm_... Paste: example.com/article It can also clean copied text, convert bullet lists to Markdown, shorten YouTube URLs, and apply any your own rules! This tool basically limited only by your imagination.
Rules can be simple, but also compose local or remote imports, nested rulesets, native shell/item-shell rules, and capability-scoped WASM plugins. For example, the GitLab plugin turns GitLab URLs into Markdown links and can resolve titles via an explicitly permitted GitLab API.

I use a shared URL-cleanup pack with 1030+ site-specific rules alongside local personal/work rules. Just add this into your config.yml for a project: ```yaml rules: - import: gist.github.com/jag-k/3f9cd1... ```
