I've found myself enjoying magic a lot more ever since I stopped using reddit. It becomes much easier to just engage with what you want when you aren't having to scroll past it constantly

I whole 100% agree! Sadly, its not possible to ignore sets when they literally give you said cards. It just sours the experience of those who didnt want it. And I wanted it to be just that! Lorwyn! But its impossible not to mention the turtle in the room... 🫠 Sorry im just upset and salty lol

It's so good (running the largest prerelease I've ever run rn ppl are loving it).

Honestly, I just sent all the pictures to my friend who is super excited for TMNT and then continued with my great Lorwyn prerelease. Maralen ftw!

I agree. It sucks that there is so much UB already, take a min to just enjoy Lorwyn before the massive incoming ub marketing that in universe sets never seem to get

A real shame that it was never going to get its time to shine. Next set comes out in six weeks and all anyone could talk about today is TMNT cards. This was the set I was looking forward to most because I've been waiting for Lorwyn for years. My interest in new magic has never been lower.

Every prerelease event in my area was sold out. There is SO much excitement for Lorwyn.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's probably the only set I'm gonna be buying this whole year. I have 0 interest in UB sets, I don't care that much for stryxhaven because I'm not a fan of the magic school gimmick, and we know nothing about Fractured reality except a few clues in the lore

That's been my strategy for UB

Our prerelease sold out last night, which was great. A lot of returning folks who were drawn in by UB stuff have stayed and are really loving this set. And a lot of them from different backgrounds as well! I think this was one of the most diverse groups I’ve seen.

I just did fuckin awful at a pre release and I'm super happy I went! All the praise to in universe sets :)))
