I guess I'll introduce myself to Bluesky. I'm Jared, but you can call me Jardo. Computers bend to my will. I'm based in Victoria, BC, and help organizations build eCommerce systems that make Shopify stores jealous using Ruby on Rails and Solidus.

When I'm not writing Ruby code or helping businesses unfuck their technical strategy, you'll find me driving out to remote surf breaks along the Pacific coast while listening to face-melting death metal.

I run Super Good Software, where we specialize in making eCommerce systems that don't make you want to throw your laptop into the aforementioned frigid Pacific. The secret ingredient is Solidus. We're the folks you call when you need flexibility, not another cookie-cutter solution.

Fun fact: I go by Jardo online because my bank decided that was my name and put it on my cheques. I kept it because it sounds like a minor Star Wars character who dies heroically in the background of episode IV.
