I'd be glad to say more offline, but working there during his tenure was one of the most unpleasant and negative experiences of my career. I am glad we got some good folks out, and I hope that the good folks still there can resume their great work with little interference.

Did that include things like you and Nick Wilding, and the Seb Falk Light Ages talk? Cos those were rocking. I hope that things will improve now, but so sorry it went down this path en route.

Shit, I had assumed I could always go back again to check things like details from your talk with Nick Wilding or Jamie's talk with Hannah Marcus at a later date because whyyyy would an institution remove great recordings about its own collection? Sigh. 🙁

"Because institutions" is often enough. We go through periodic struggles not to have our museum talks wiped from the institutional YouTube page. Them: "They're old!" Us: "2 years ain't much when we're talking about stuff from 400 years ago. Also they get the most hits."
