anyway i'm going to do my best to sit it out this year politically on social media. posting about and ruminating on these matters just pulls me into an anxious malaise and doesn't do much to help anything. i can say what i need to say through my work and that's where my energies are better directed.

i think it's a big ol' trick that everyone has to post at all times as if that is THE way to practice what you believe. imo doing almost anything else better serves that, especially irl.
