If you're doing PR or sending keys or whatever, essentially cold calling YouTube/Twitch channels with a game, I assure you that you do not need to have AI gin up some fake list of things that you "saw and enjoyed" on the channel to make that message have impact. That stuff just makes you look fake.

You made a video about my game off of a cold email, I think the key was having an interesting game and also not starting it with "Hi The Jeff Gerstmann Show!"

When I worked for an anime site, I had a Christian streaming service send me a email that started: ""We saw and loved your article "Why Frieza Was Totally Right About The Saiyans" and think your audience would love our Christian-focused programming!"" I really wanted to print it out and frame it.

those and the flip side is every idiot linkedin telling me they like what we are doing at at straybombay... do you? What do you like?

They wombo combo’d me by doing this and DMing my side twitch channel’s account, and misgendering by asking how to contact me here (a presumed different male person.) They thought I was just a mod in my own fan discord. I just laughed my ass off at the absurdity. Entire steam page written by AI.

i have to assume this preys on the small-to-mid size twitch channel or youtube where it's just some 20-something guy who is addicted to being seen, for whom "i watched your shit" brings an inordinate dose of dopamine. "this must mean i'm making it, i'm doing it!"
