I just went uptown to buy a few things from a couple local stores. Circled the neighbourhood following detour signs and parking restrictions and after 15 minutes of not even getting out of my car, came back home, didn't buy a thing. Does City Hall hate Uptown businesses?

Sadly, I’ve heard this story on repeat far too often. The answer is a lotta “blah blah greater good” from folks whose salary isn’t affected in the least by it.
