Who are your favorite music critics, and where do you read their work? I'm particularly interested in finding more young/emerging voices.

Come on over, Jeff! We just released “Top 5 Male Country Artists” last Monday, and have “Top 5 Pop Punk”albums coming out in about a month. We also published “Top 5 Scores, Not Sountracks” about a month and a half ago. We have curated playlists available on Spotify.

This is a great idea for a podcast. My problem with podcasts in general is that I have no commute, so I don't get a lot of time for that type of listening. I'm playing music all day long, but I can work while I do that; it's a lot harder to divide my attention while I'm listening to people speak.

Fair enough, Jeff! We get all our high quality audio time in while walking our dogs. The show is built on that opportunity. Do you have a few artists or albums you enjoy? I’d love to send you a few recommendations, albeit without the full context afforded by the show. Instrumental?

Oh man, that's a huge question! I don't even know where to start narrowing that list down. I could send you the spreadsheet of albums I've played (and remembered to track) in 2025... I also do a New Music Friday roundup most weeks at Jefitoblog.
