So you do NOT need a booster! Unless you were born before 1957 and were vaccinated prior to 1968 - they used a far less effective "dead" virus vaccination in that period. If you had your 2 doses, you're good. BUT! If you HAVEN'T had it, GO GET IT! Yo do NOT want measles! (Or mumps, or rubella.)

Soooo fun story. A few years ago I got a new doctor and she couldn't find a digital vaccine record for MMR (I later found the paper school record), so she ran my blood work for the markers, just to be sure. ....I was missing the mumps marker. So I ended up going through another round of MMR shots.

Yeah, way fun. 😬 I'm really glad she thought to run a marker check "just in case" because, yeah, I'm pretty sure back then I figured Mumps was surely extinct.. 😂😭💀
