TIL not to stand under a palm tree during ant season 😣 As I was moving my baby from the stroller to a carrier, she reached up to grab a palm frond and started playing with it while I was strapping her in. I thought it was a great distraction until I noticed the ants suddenly all over me and her!

The ants have been ridiculously bad in Southern California this year with the unusually warm and humid weather. The ones invading my house are just normal black ants, but these tree ones were biters!
