I received a code for an #indiegame playtest that seemed promising... Everything was fine until a Gen AI disclosure popped up AFTER I HIT NEW GAME‼️ This was not disclosed on its Steam page. The PR outlet didn't give me that info either. 😡 Gen AI ruining my #twitch stream plans for the day. 😤

I'm so tired of "IT'S JUST A PLACEHOLDER". People said I was being too harsh when I refused to not hold Expedition 33 accountable for it and now look where we are because they made it acceptable.

Placeholder or not *it shouldn’t be used at all.* The game should have just stayed silent at that rate. It’s ridiculous that they didn’t disclose this on the Steam page and you made the right call

Right?? For any game, I'd prefer having to read out the text myself over the use of Gen AI voiceover. Thanks! It ruined my plans 🥲 but I didn't want to continue streaming it beyond that point.
