PayPal is just ridiculous. Gmail aliases all combinations of your email address with a period in any location. myemail @ gmail mye.mail @ gmail m.ymail @ gmail are the same account. Not in PayPal. Someone registered an account with one of the aliases and keeps adding other emails to it. Scam?

I’ve called PayPal a few times over this. They won’t fix it. So, I’m slowly adding all possible aliases to my account. What a pain for a service I haven’t used in years. I’m worried they’re going to commit fraud and try to hang it in me. Am I over thinking this?
